Privacy Policy

• Account. Your email address, a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash), and the invite code you redeemed. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
• Waitlist. Just your email, used for one thing: telling you when access opens. No spam, no newsletter.
• Chats. The messages you send and the conversations you keep, so your history is there when you come back.
• Usage and technical data. Which features you use, per-request metrics like model, token counts and latency, and the standard data any web infrastructure sees: IP address, browser and device type. We use it for security, performance and debugging.

And what we don’t: no payment details (the beta is free), no precise location, no contacts, and nothing from your sportsbook accounts. PlayGPT never connects to a sportsbook.

• Run the product: answer your questions, keep your history, remember your settings.
• Improve it: aggregate usage shows us what works and what to fix.
• Keep it safe: rate limiting, abuse prevention and error monitoring.
• Reach you: transactional email only, like waitlist and account notices. There is no marketing list.

When you send a message, it is processed by the AI models that power PlayGPT. Requests are routed through an AI gateway (OpenRouter or Vercel AI Gateway) to the model providers that generate the answer, currently Google and Anthropic. They receive what is needed to answer your question and nothing more, and we do not allow your content to be used to train their models.

Nobody, for their own purposes. A short list of service providers processes data on our behalf, only to run PlayGPT:

• Vercel · hosting and cookieless analytics
• Supabase · authentication and database
• OpenRouter, Google and Anthropic · AI inference
• Sentry · error monitoring, with session diagnostics masked
• Resend · transactional email
• Upstash · rate limiting

Beyond that, we would only disclose data if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy still applies.

We do not sell personal information. We never have. No data brokers, no ad networks.

The only cookies we set are essential: the session cookies that keep you signed in. Our analytics don’t use cookies and don’t follow you across sites. There are no advertising cookies anywhere on PlayGPT.

Your account and conversations stay until you delete them. Deleting a conversation removes it from your account immediately. Usage and diagnostic logs are kept only as long as they are useful for the purposes above.

To erase your account and everything tied to it, email admin@playgpt.ai. We respond within 30 days, usually much faster.

You can ask us to access, export, correct or delete your personal data, wherever you live. Email admin@playgpt.ai and we will take care of it.

PlayGPT is for people 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 is using PlayGPT, tell us and we will remove the account.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted, and we collect as little as possible in the first place. No system is perfectly secure: if you find a vulnerability, email admin@playgpt.ai.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. For material changes, we will email account holders first.
